a) Open the worksheet in Microsoft Excel that comprises of contact information within it. The address book information will be the one, which you want to move in MS Outlook 2010
b) Go to File menu of current program and choose Save As option from the list
c) Click on the Save as Type drop-down button and select CSV (Comma delimited) option
d) If you want to change the default location and name of resultant file then, do that; else directly click on Save

Step 2 : Import CSV File in MS Outlook 2010
a) If you want to transfer address book information in the existing Contacts folder of Outlook then, directly jump to step (c)
b) You can right-click on Contacts folder and click on New Folder from the list. Mention the name of newly created folder and then finish by clicking on OK
c) Click on File menu of Microsoft Outlook and click Open to explore the further menu. This will continue procedure to transfer Excel address book to Outlook
d) An Import panel gets opened in which you have to select Import from another program or file and click Next
e) From the list of file options, choose Comma Separated Values (Windows) and click Next
f) Click on Browse button and locate the path where source CSV file is saved. Select the file and click on OK button
g) Select the ‘Do not import duplicate items’ radio button and then, hit on Next
h) Choose the Microsoft Outlook address book mailbox in which you want to transfer contacts and click on Next button

Step 3 : Map Contact Fields Between CSV and Outlook
- On the current screen, click on Map Custom Field button
