Almonds are great for renewing the protein level of your hair. All the protein we eat is separated into amino acids, which are utilized by the liver to make various proteins. Thus, under the scalp region, there are a large number of hair follicles that make keratin from the amino acids we get in food. Hair development occurs in these cells, which is how hair is grown. So protein is in a real sense indispensable to keep intact each strand of hair! If you don’t get enough of it in your diet, you’ll have thin, brittle, and weak hair which tumbles off.
